My stay at this historical gem proved to be a mixed experience, blending relaxation with minor disappointments.The 18 treatment room spa provided a tranquil haven to unwind, offering rejuvenating therapies like aromatherapy. However, while spa staff excelled, the advertised weight loss and nutrition assistance seemed elusive during my visit.The secluded lakeside setting created a picturesque backdrop for leisure activities like kayaking and mountain biking. Although the renovated facilities were clean and updated, inconsistent dining options left much to be desired, with a disappointing breakfast selection lacking fresh fruit and herbal teas.Amidst the peaceful cabin accommodations, I found solace in preparing meals within the scenic surroundings. Despite some shortcomings, Spruce Hill Resort & Spa presents an affordable retreat for nature lovers seeking a quiet escape.
